Joy Ministry

Joy Ministry is a group of Christian women that meets once a month for fellowship and mission work.  Originally, created as a group of younger women in 2002, the group quickly opened to all women in our church family.  With this in mind JOY Ministry stands for the way we should live our lives; J-Jesus first, O-others second, Y-yourself last.  Joy Ministry meetings are held on the 3^rd Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m.  Each meeting includes devotions, and we review the results of our community-directed missions.   

Joy ministry currently helps to support the following activities in our church:

1. Family Night -  At 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. each Wednesday from September through May, Joy Ministries host a family dinner for the church and community. Dinners are served and the cost is simply a free-will donation to ensure that we will serve young families through senior citizens. (carry-outs available).  The last Wednesday night of each month a local charity receives all the profits of that dinner (minus expenses).

2. Special Events - Joy Ministry is ofen asked to put on special dinners for special occasions such as weddings and important birthdays.
